Funnel, cowl vents and ships boats are vacformed in polystyrene to speed construction. The kit is complete with a full set of fittings and all running gear. I have built one of these, slightly modified to represent HMS Kellington, It is powered by two butchered servos, as described in the instruction booklet which comes with the model.

I couldn't get the sleeving to stay in place. However I carefully superglued a short length of plastic tube over both the motor shaft and the propshaft end, The sleeving was the fitted over the top of these 'sleeves', and now being a tighter fit, all works well.

It would be worth checking you hull for symmetry, mine was slightly out when I checked port against starboard hull edges, Bit of plastic card and some filler sorted it to my satisfaction.
