Back again after several years. This time with just me and my wife. We each ordered a sandwich me a BLT and her a burger. Both turned out very good and we'd recommend anyone to try this place out.

We plan on being back there again this coming week. The prices were a bit high but to be expected in the far away tourist type place with little or no competition. We tried out Flaming Gorge Restaurant our first night and we were thrilled. It is good 'ole hometown family dining. Wonderful, friendly service with Great food! Shakes were awesome and Oakley, the young maybe 8 year old helper was a Rockstar!!!

We went there on our second night in town as well. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back in the future!!! Let me tell you about this place, It's a diner so nothing fancy about it.

It's the food and service that makes it a must stop at place. They were extremely busy and we got lucky enough to get the last available table. Our waitress Grace was prompt with get our drinks and taking our orders. I have worked in the restaurant business, so I knew buy looking around that our food was going to take awhile and I was correct. But as Grace ran around trying to take care of all her tables she still made sure to check on us with a smile.

Once our food arrived all we could say was wow! Our burgers were huge with a very nice size side of fries. The burgers were very good, but tell you what, the fries were to die for!!! They were fresh, hot, and crispy. The best part was even as we struggled to eat all of the food, the last fry I could eat was just as crispy as the first one. So if you go there when it's busy, believe me when I say it's worth the wait!

Thank you Grace and the rest of the staff for a wonderful meal. If you need average food and average service, this is a fine place to go. Brownings is a quick walk or even quicker drive from the nearby KOA. We stopped for Saturday lunch and the place was dead. Seated ourselves. The restaurant itself is very casual with animal heads and fish as the decor. That's to be expected as this area is known for hunting and fishing. The menu has a little bit of everything, including burgers, pizza, Mexican, kids menu, etc.

The burger with jalapenos and bacon was ok, but dry. The fries were hot, crisp and tasty. The cheese quesadilla was ok, but I could have made it myself in my RV; maybe next time I will do that. Service was okay; issue with the milkshake that never appeared.

All-in-all, it was ok, but nothing great; I would eat here again if I needed to, but wouldn't make a point to return. Very comparable to Popeye's Regular while serving up larger pieces.

My three piece came with two whites and a leg - delicious! Coleslaw was homemade and excellent. The shakes blueberry pie shake for my fishing buddy and malts my favorite - peanut butter were thick and "over-the-top". Would definitely eat here again when out this way.
