Update:

competence floatation ssiling be combined to a crawl as well as stern. I done the shift to a content ! A word dory routinely refers to the tiny vessel (normally Fifteen to Lorem lpsum 269 boatplans/near/plywood-skiff-kits-61 Learn more here ft long) with the prosaic bottom as well as extreme sides.

But my really singular knowledge with boats with rather allied carcass forms left me with a prodigy which a transformation wasn't what I longed for to imagination over the sailing la vagabonde boat university sea thoroughfare solely there was the hulk crater full of bullion upon a finish.

Fusion of the neck might cause the disc below the fusion to be compressed over time causing discomfort. Talk with a Dr. Riley and Elayna, It is true, many of us live vicariously through your adventures. You should have reached Antigua. Would love to hear some good news Sailing Boats For Sale Thailand University about your neuro eval and both of you getting some sleep! Hoping all is well. My guess would be that Riley will always have a vulnerability there because of the trauma and the metal bit, as I will always have lower back issues and be fighting that tendency to twist.

Just exercise it and keep it strong and supple and yer good to go. Have watched your videos from the beginningvery well done. I have a questionit is now May 26th and you are in Barbuda.. Do you plan to go on the hard or continue Sailing. Fair Winds,. Hi Guys Have been watching your channel from the beginning. Well done Just watched your episode regarding plastic. It would seem that probably the biggest concern that we have for Micro plastics in our oceans is from washing machines grinding up textile products like Nylon and Rayon from our clothing and such.

The local governments around the world filter sewerage for bugs and harmful bodies before they reach release waste water to the ocean, but they do not filter for micro plastics produced in what you would think are huge quantities from every household and industry across the entire world. This program absolutely upset me when I watched it and I have no idea what to do with this information, except spread the word to everyone I know. From what I can determine, the depressing part is, that massive damage has been already done and it continues.

I wonder if a lot of the abnormal increases in sickness we have in out communities like Cancer is being caused by this form of pollution. Sorry if this disturbs you in the same way it did for me, but you have a large platform in order to make a difference.

I hope by sending this to you, that I have done a small part also. If you are ever in the neighbourhood please look us up. We would be happy to put you up for a couple of days and show you around our beautiful part of the world. Congrats on the pending birth of your child. I just watched your followup message about your tentative plans to have the baby born in Florida, etc.

All good. Some thoughts from a 60 yr. We like to explore and camp in the mountains and deserts of the western U. A child will change your life in ways you cannot imagine, but your bring the baby into your world, and while there will be some changes, the whole point of starting and having a family is to bring them into your world, to show them all life has to offer, and all that you love, and hope they will come to love.

Our first born son spent his first night camping on the beach, in a camper shell on the back of a pickup truck, at 3 months old.

You show them the world, and the people in it, and teach them the difference between right and wrong, and how to think critically, and before you know it they are grown and goneand you spend the rest of your life praying for them. You are two smart young people who have quite literally impacted thousands of lives with your work. Yes, many come to your you tube strictly for the sailing stuff, but more come because of you, and who you are, and how you share your world with us Of course the videos will change.

Everything is going to changebut your lives, and the life of your child, will go on. The baby will grow into a toddler, the toddler into a young kid, and before you know it he will be a young man.

I wish you two all the best. At this stage in my life I can say that the greatest gifts my children have given me are a new level of love, an indescribable love that only parents get to experience. They gave me a new set of eyes to see the world through, andway down the road, the greatest gift of them all grandchildren. I wish you two all the best in the world. Thanks a lot for that.

We have friends who have started a journey on a sailboat one and a half years ago with two little kids. The plan was to start before getting kids but, live has it own rules. So after the first kid, they started to reconsider there plans, and before they came to an end so now with to kids on the boat. They started at Kiel Germany and at the moment the boat lies somewhere in Brazil.

They came bake for work but will continue there journey around october. By all the beautifull stories the told us, they have this thing in the video that makes them a bit reflective. On this theme has already been called attention on in this block, but i think, we can not remember the people enough. Especially when you travell with kids and try to show them the world. This next experience will make this journey even richer and more adorable as it already is!!

I love watching your videos. Living on the open sea would be at the top of my greatest fears. Well done to you.

Elayna please share your meal plans. Riley looks way healthier than when you started out, it has to be your healthy meals. Please share. Congratulations on the pregnancy. Together with Saltwater Brewery, a small craft beer brand in Florida whose primary target are surfers fishermen and people who love the sea, we decided to tackle the issue head on and make a statement for the whole beer industry to follow. We ideated, designed, prototyped and manufactured Edible Six Pack Rings.

A six-pack packaging design that instead of killing animals, feeds them. Hope you are doing well. I have watched you both online for quite awhile now and will continue to do so.

I would love to be out there on the water living the dream like you two do now, but the funds are just not there for me on a fixed income. Be safe and have fun. Hey there.. Love you guys.. My son and I freedive spearfish as well and we just wanted to say how great it is that you bring your spearing adventures to the channel. Please keep it up! Most importantly I just wanted to bring something to your attention incase you did not have knowledge of it. I know you guys are really busy on the boat and many times you dont get a good nights sleep.

Well, if that happens and youre freediving at or beyound your limits, it can lead to some complications. I know you are a responsible guy and you have a dive buddy etc. I really do care and me sending this is all out of love. Also you never know what people have knowledge of unless you ask. Keep bringing us these advantures. Its very inspiring! An episode on this topic would be very interesting to a lot of folks. Cheers, Ron. Hi Glenn! Thanks for the message. We gave them permission to re-upload.

Thanks for thinking of us though! Congratulations on the baby! You guys live your lives with a freedom purchased by fearlessness, hard work, and adversity.

If not what was the problem and how did you fix it? If you have fixed it. You are such an inspiration. Congrats on the pregnancy. When are you guys going to be in Florida? I live in Louisiana. I would love to learn to sail and go spear fishing. I just got back from a trip to the Bahamas to go diving with black tip reef sharks. They were amazing. All you need to know! A conch expert in the Bahamas shows you how to make Conch Salad. Hey Jeff! We list it at the bottom of our weekly posts.

On the side of caution most diving organizations including DAN, advise against anything except snorkeling with a limit of 10 feet max. As you dive, they say, all gases in the body compress and this may be harmful to the fetus especially in the first trimester.

Love watching your adventures, you guys are inspirational. Do you have any plans to come up the east coast of Florida? Enjoy very much watching and listening to you both. We have property on Lynyard Cay in Abaco, Bahamas if you want a place to hang out for awhile let us know. The property is pretty private and safe anchorage right in front of our dock. We have visited Australia and dove on the Great Barrier Reef on a live aboard dive board some years back, loved every minute of it.

Thank you both for sharing your life stories, you both are an inspiration and remind us about how we live our lives and goals as individuals and as a couple. May I use a song from your album for a second introduction moniker for my youtube channel? How would I go about doing that? What a thrill it is no, theres a better superlative awesome has been used. Yes thats it! Oh Yeah! This is work.

Hard work that is very clear in the quality of the product vids you put out. I believe, like so many others, that you deserve the beautiful boat and life that you are enjoying.

Keep up with doing exactly what your doing. Love it! I have ONLY, yrs to learn everything yeah, right! Hey, are you guys in Charleston. If thats your boat out in front of the city marina, I would love to buy you guys dinner while you here. Would be glad to help with anything you guys may need while here in Charleston. Please contact me. My cell is and email is [email protected]. Hello guys, i live in sweden and i want to sail around the world in about 2,5 years but i dont know what route i should take, what did you do?

Please help me! Your the best and i subscribed for 3 years now, love you so much! So, first off I would say that they 2 3 of you are really great people and so professional it is no wonder you are the premier sailing channel.

I do have to say though, I feel like the fact your boat is so reliant on fossil fuel still is a real issue that I believe you should address. Now with all your supporters I am sure some engineers can build a relatively inexpensive and very efficient system for the boat. I would also say build it in a way that allows for longer passages. I am currently in the process of doing this to an Alberg 30 because I got tired of everyone trashing me when I pointed out that it is totally possible to do the conversion from fossil fuel engines.

Instead of arguing I decided to do. I hope your family chooses to do the same. You have a responsibility as role models to young people and proof of concept to all others who see it as impossible without making the boat extremely heavy or spending massive amounts of money. Thank you and I truly hope your family takes this project on sooner rather than later. I would even be willing to give insight into the system I am developing if it would help.

We are definitely looking at it Ernest, the technology is still very much in the development phase but we are doing our best to keep an eye on what is possible and affordable. Good luck with your endeavours. It would make for a great documentary. Have you heard of the Energy Observer? Hello guys, I just wanted to say that what you do is really cool, I like your videos very much and I try to follow the post as much as possible.

Do you have a episode or information on what you use for fishing gear and how you fish off-shore? Have you all ever considered publishing a playlist of the music you all play on your videos? Maybe you could create a Sailing La Vagabonde Pandora channel??? Please know that your videos continue to inspire me and help me get thru the grind of everyday life on terra firma!!! I started watching a few months ago, I am enjoying the recent videos and at the same time have been catching up on the old ones.

I love your personalities and adventurous spirits. Got us thinking of doing a bit of sailing ourselves. Congrats on your beautiful new bundle of joy, he is adorable!!! Safe travels and thanks again for all the fantastic videos. Hi guys, Not sure what you are upto? Or upto much with a new one. I just got back from 3weeks in K. And thought if you wanted a free dinner at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, just let me know. Justin cheers! Just found you guys.

Kinda binge watching from episode 1. Got some catching up to do. For years, I have been trying to persuade my wife that it could great fun to live on a boat for a whole year. She has been sitting on the fence but your posts are serving to ease fears, manage expectations, and bring into focus what that life actually looks like on a daily basis. So Thank You for that! I have just started a YouTube channel of my own basically dually narrated language audiobooks to help learn a second language.

Been with you every step of the way. Congrats for taking the step and living your dreams and giving us the privilege of sharing your dreams.

Safe sailing. You could herniated a disc in your back very easy. It is really easy to do. I know of teenagers who have done it from simple things. When lifting do not arch your back keep it straight bend at the hips.

I wish some one would have warned me. Do you plan to rig netting on your lifelines, when Lenny starts walking? Something I never thought about with my kids as our boat was much smaller and they were relegated to the cockpit. Augustine, Florida I live just north of there. May need some guidance on what Lenny likes if the day ever comes, haha! No particular reason that I thought you would be interested other than you seem to have a similar vibe to the organizer and a lot of the participants.

Would be awesome to meet you guys in person if it worked out! Hi Chris, The name of the event for has been changed to the Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis, to better represent the cause behind the event. Reports are 2 aircraft carrier groups are leaving both coasts of usa headed to possible coup area of venezula.

Looks like your in a safe spot but might watch developing events in the southern direction. Here is a link. It has always been a dream of mine to sail around the would living off the ocean while exploring new and exciting places.

Unfortunately I have never been in a position to even consider anything close to it, so I have been loving vicariously through you two now three- congrats by the way!! My partner and I have finally decided to get out from the grind and do a nice long period of travel may- November I hope you guys are well! Wishing you well in you on going adventures! Kind regards AJ Brown. Im about an hour car ride from Annapolis or about 50 miles by boat. If you guys need anything a shipping address, Car, Housing, a place to tie up for a while please let us know.

My wife said to tell Elayna, we have a ton of boy clothes if needed. We have 3 and 1 year old boys and a 5 year old girl. Later Jackson. Hi Riley, Elayna and Lenny Me and my husband have been following you from and I have never missed one episode. This message is not to get an answer from you it is just to say well done. Riley, you always make me laugh and I love your positivity on the boat. Lenny, you are so cute and you remind me so much of my little man. It is time for you to try and catch your first fish.

Enjoy your sail guys and go with the wind. Lots of love from New Zealand. I feel bad about raising this to experienced people like you but I had shivers down my spine when I saw Alana in a confined space jump starting a diesel engine with long hair not restrained. I have spent 50 years supervising construction projects and have seen some terrible injuries when loose hair was caught in Sailing La Vagabonde Boat Price 2020 machinery. A thousand tropic islands lie sparkling in your lee But I have found a loved one Someone who cares for me The gipsy wind I know will take My ship to many seas But where that special person is, my home will always be.

Secondly, we absolutely need help to save our abandoned sailingboat on the Atlantic. After having to deal with several broken rudder blades the crew had to abandon our sailingboat in the middle of the Atlantic. Now I am looking for help of any kind to save it and bring it to the Azores. Please contact me if you or anyone you know is on the way to cross the Atlantic or would want to help with towing or would accompany me to get to our boat.

Short: Anyone who could help in any way to save our sailingboat! I would like to give this to my wife for her 40th birthday. The internet is full of addresses . If you have a tip, I would be grateful. I wish you all the best and have fun as a small family we like to watch your really well made films. I guess I just wanted to write you to thank you for all the effort that you have put into the videos and stories that you pieced together for us to enjoy over the years.

Love your videos! How much of an issue is sunburn especially for Lenny? I assume you have to buy SPF 50 by the liter and drench yourselves in it every morning. Next time in the Abacos, on a calm day, take the big boat out the south cut of Man-O-War to the front side of the Cay. Anchor in 7 meters of sand between the massive coral heads. Shoot loads of big fish! So what would it take to book a trip and learn about sailing? I want to buy a boat after selling my homes in the U.

Any chances you could help me make my dreams come true? I am John Griffin at I really hope to hear from you for sure: Also a piano player and guitarist. I played the southeast circuit in the U. I notice you both love spicy food, so here is a delicious, quick and easy Tom Yum soup recipe. If you do make it please give me a quick mention.

Add prawns, cook for a further 3 minutes. Add lime juice, stirring in the juice. Now enjoy. I have loved watching your videos and I wish I could be there on the boat with you. Love the work you do! We crossed the english channel 3 days ago seeing dolphins within the first 2 hours it was incredible. Sorry, I cant sudscribe. Just survived the worst fire in California history picking up the pieces. Just want to say thanks for getting me through some dark times. The bigger issue is communicating how tallented you guys are.

I want to support your funny original comedy clips that you do on occasion; like when ur folks got off tje boat and when u did tjat skit after Reiley got chopped for doing advertisments. That stuff is good comedy Good on ya, Shane Z.

My Dad is a patreon, and absolutely enjoys your videos! Think there is any need for a certified teacher in that live aboard world???

I saw in your most recent post that you had another sunglasses mishap. I messaged a few weeks ago after Riley broke a pair and I would like to donate to your crew.

Just let me know when and where to send them and their yours. Safe travels and I hope to hear from you soon. Duh Devils Backbone. Ok Ok Ok !!! Susan and I are planning a drive to the east coast for the Annapolis Boat Show. This trip is to meet you both for a minute as we are sure you will be vary busy.

Will you have any public time for this , since it is quite a distance for us to travel? We assume this may be our only opportunity to meet you both since we are sure you will be sailing away to distant shores. Wayne and I are also coming to meet your family at the Annapolis Boat Show. We offer free floating dock, water, power, car, hospitality, diaper changing services for as long as you need to stay.

You guys should design an embroidered patch for a jacket. There is an urgentoffers someone is concerned you. I know you stay busy all the time and absolutely with Lenny now. Love your footage and wait daily for the next one to arrive. So bummed that I missed out on your Beer Koozies that you sold on your webpage. Really wanted some of those and hope you can print more in the future.

Safe sailing to you guys and much love to you all! Good luck today with Dorian. I hope your friends in the other islands are safe too. Keep doing what you do, we live vicariously through you.

Hi guys Just a bit concerned about your safety with Dorian blowing through so close. Please let us know that your ok as soon as you can. Take care. Hope you are well. Keep us updated on your experience with Hurricane Dorian. Keep up the good work!

I love your videos, I was wondering if you guys use some sort of guide to help you plan your journeys, I hope you guys faired well with the hurricane.

I am sailor myself on tankers over in Japan, and I know that when we have typhoons come we run and hide. Keep doing what your doing it is amazing to watch and hopefully one day I can live the same life. I bought your Sailing guide you wrote and thought it was wonderful. I hope to live on a sailboat soon. I started out when I was young saving for an island and then decided an Island was too stationary and so switched to saving for a sailboat.

Then dream got put on hold for family and business, fast forward 40 years. Your book so resonated with me because it has the basics I wish I had had before I stepped on my boat and also things I did not even know I did not know. The anchor part made me laugh because the first time we anchored we tossed over an anchor thinking it would just hold us down, then went to bed and at 2am we were on the internet researching how to set an anchor because we were woken up by yelling that we were drifting.

REAL sailors I am sure will cringe at that story and would say we should have learned first and perhaps we should have, but that is why I really liked your book, it starts with bare bones basics. It also contains some real time saving tips, fun ideas and it is just an all around no nonsense down to earth helpful guide. Thank you so much. Love your Videos by the way. Hi there Riley, Elayna and Lenny. Huge fan as well, from sunny South Africa. You guys absolutely make my day, everyday.

You guys are a beautiful couple and have a gorgeous little boy. You talk about real stuff 3. You actually are great parents to Lenny . You go girl. Will definitely have to get that Recipes under sail book that you have out. I actually appreciate the sea more since I have watched your videos. I see sunsets and sunrises from the most beautiful places I would not be able to visit. I see fish species that looks far more interesting than the packaged fish from the shop.

I have this new adventures side on me that I never had 9. Beginning to anti-plastic using. Truly love your boat and will have to, just once, go out and get a sail somewhere.

So keep it up and enjoy the sail!!!! Hi there! The word worry is not nearly a strong enough word to describe the emotion I was battling on a daily basis.

I realized later that being able to focus made a huge difference, for example, when I was tired or stressed my mind would wander and for lack of a better word would spiral out of control. I feared even doing daily chores. In the end, however, it was a coin flip whether I made it to the store or not. Some days I could do it but other days my anxiety would win. However, the very moment my first child, Chloe Renee, came into this world it all changed!!!

It was like a cloud of reality and panic lowered itself around me making it hard to move or even breath, like the fear was going to overtake me if I let it. I spent the first 2 years of my daughters life a complete neurotic mess. From the outside I looked like I had the perfect life and was the envy of others but inside I was living a nightmare. I tried every form of western therapy as well as holistic eastern medicine with little to know help.

And just when I thought I was going to go crazy, God have me a quick sharp slap in the face and woke me up from the nightmare. After giving birth to my second child, my son Chase Ryder, I became deathly ill. My body began shutting itself down and I was literally dying. I was officially dyingmy body was going to do to me what all of those scenarios I obsessed over and feared would do to me.

Out of options and desperate I dropped to my knees and I just started praying. I decided there and then to give all of my fear and worry to God. I told him I was his to do what he wanted and that if he would just guide me I would follow.

I watched endless YouTube videos which is how I found you on the subject and as I tried and failed to prove the Bible wrong in the hopes of me being the ruler of my own destiny I found something in me changing. Having 2 boys I also had this anxiety but with the help of prayers and reading the bible we are constantly on our knees for ourselves as well for our kids.

Love your content. I recently came across this TED talk and related website that I believe is worth sharing and I know it hits close to home for you. Your ability to reach a wide audience would be a tremendous boost for this important cause. We are looking for advertising opportunities for Online Bookmaker 22BET in Nigeria and thought that your site might be a great option. Hey Elena and Riley! I had planned to see you at the United States sailboat show in Annapolis however I failed to make it out so I apologize.

However I have always had a strong passion for the ocean andMuch curiosity for sailing, if you ever need a entry-level deckhand I will gladly be at your service. Thank you for all you guys do to continue posting and bringing smiles to many people we love you and once again wish you all safe travels! Thanks to Greta Thunberg.

I have thought, you are honest. No thanks. How can I donate through paypal towards the crossing? Link not working right now? Hi to the three of you. I was hoping someone of the sailing community would step in and help her to stay true and be on time. So proud, love you guys. Safe crossing.

Sorry for the garbage you will hear for doing a nice thing. Hope the new passengers take to seafaring life. As your follower Ken said rest is one of the best things to do although a little difficult we realise, while sailing an ocean. Lol Foggi. Take care my friends you are both always in my thoughts.

Hey Riley and Elayna, glad to see your feeling somewhat improved but really try to limit your activity and avoid doing anything strenuous until you get cleared by a physician. You guys are an awesome team and a real inspiration to us all. Safe sailing and also glad to see you both using the safety lines. Wishing you smooth sailing and looking forward to seeing you during your next video.

Glad to hear you guys are pushing thru However this spine issue needs to be evaluated. I would highly suggest Miami Spine gurus!! At University of Miami. Also I would have a C collar on Sailing La Vagabonde Boat Uk board along with a medrol dose pack on board for future sailing. Not trying to be a Debbie downer. We are located in Marathon Florida keys if we can be of any help let us know we Sailing Boat 5 Letters University have plenty of dockage and ground transportation should this assist you in any way.

Perils at sea. I know you have tried to address this frequently, showing all kinds of problems; yet people should be under no illusions, sailing is a risky business, especially when in the middle of an ocean and an accident occurs.

We watch because its a joy to see two young people on such an adventure and some of us are sufficiently inspired to have a go ourselves.

I feel certain that half your problems with falling on that boat are due to your not wearing shoes. Get some non slip rubber sole shoes and stop falling. I was stupid enough to stuff my head into the mizzen mounted wind turbine while at sea.

The subsequent head injury was very scary with a serious amount of blood loss and large open wound that eventually required stitches. I felt that sense of initial panic and helplessness people are right to say that sailing, and particularly offshore sailing, is dangerous no matter what precautions you take and how careful you are.

In a single moment either because of bad luck, fatigue, or stupidness can result in a serious incident! I feel you both. Safe crossing. Fantastic support from Elayna.. I will be praying for your swift healing. Please consider bringing another experienced sailor on board full time, or at least on passages such as this, so that if something like this happens again you will have additional help to sail.

It is too big of a boat to sail alone. And too risky. I herniated my C-7 and C-8 about 7 years ago. Will certainly miss you guys. Have a safe vacation. When you get back Lennie will be running around. Here at Pawleys Island, SC we are getting ready to do a little boating once the landings open up. Trades blew hard last night Ive been on this pacific island for a few months now far from home A strong gust the curtains fly to the ceiling the morning birds are speechless. No reason to rise.

No anchor to check. The anchor is different now. Self imposed. We keep ourselves on a conceptual hook. For the health of humanity we remain in our respective safe harbors.

I look out in the dawn light at the mango tree and wonder when I will see the sails again pulling steadily toward home.
