And truly international, too! Written by Swedes, translated into English and printed in China. The world is indeed flat! The boats are drop dead gorgeous. The author claims that wooden boats give an experience unequalled by boats made w "plastic". This book gives enough insight into the processes of maintenance and restoration for the average layman.

It's all mahogany and demands a lot of maintenance. Any and all info on owning and maintaining these beauties is important to have. So when I saw this book I was intrigued as the name implies that it's about "loving and caring for wooden boats. It's a coffee table book that features about a dozen beautiful wooden boats and tells of their design and the histories of their owners.

Near the end there is two pages of tips for working on wooden boats, but that's it. If you're a fan or owner of a classic wood boat, you'd probably enjoy this book.
