Amazing steak and wonderful service! The crab cakes are always a great choice and the bread is just fantastic! Prime rib was excellent! Service was perfect. Great evening! My recent visit was as good as any before from the service to the food. Otherwise it was just another outstanding night among the heros of the Republic. We have been very careful during Covid and not really going out to eat but now have the first vaccine and decided to venture out before the birthday coupon sent to my husband for his birthday.
Steamboat House did not disappoint. We went early with a PM appointment and we love how large the room and high ceilings are. They also still have a few tables blocked off. All safety precautions were in place and our waiter made us feel very safe.
We loved the Tower of Onion Rings appetizer, I had a dinner salad and the 6 oz filet that they prepared exactly as I requested. My husband had 16 oz ribeye and brought half of it home. We both had baked potatoes and loved the delicious bread. We enjoyed our evening out and felt safe.
We will go back soon. Food was very good, steak cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Wait staff was great. Have enjoyed Steamboat House many times and it always been great.

We were well attended by a great waiter, Judd. And, of course Oscar was there to make sure we had plenty of bread! My Husband and I went for our 20th Anniversary.
It was our first time. The Flaming Steamboat Buffet Shah Alam Restaurant waiter told us that we get a free dessert since it was our anniversary. When he brought the dessert out it said Happy Birthday instead of Happy Anniversary.
He was going to take it back and have it redone but we said it was fine. Overall the service and food was great. We will definitely go back. Loved our waitress. It was her first night out of training and did amazing!! We will be back! The service by Judd was fantastic and the food was delicious. The ambiance at Steamboat is truly outstanding and always results in some interesting conversations.
My dining experience at Steamboat is always pleasant, but this time was really special. The food seemed to have a special flavor and was served hot. Thanks for a great meal!

The weather outside was horrid raining hard so there weren't many guests. The staff did a good job of taking care of us and the food was very good. I had a ribeye; my wife had a porterhouse and both were cooked medium rare like we ordered. The meat had a wonderful Era Steamboat Restaurant Imbi flavor however they were over salted. Nonetheless we plan to return and Steamboat Springs Restaurants 91 remind the chef to watch the salt it really was overly salted because the meat quality was excellent. I love prime rib and look forward to trying yours if I can find out when it is served.

I was invited by an Associate ten years ago and this is where I bring all my out-of-town guests for great drinks, food and a little knowledge of Texas history, all rapped into one great night of pleasure!
The food, the ambiance and the service is always spot on. Excellent food and service everytime. Close to home. Party of The asparagus I ordered was terrific and my server did an excellent job. This was my 2nd time dining with you and my first time was much better. Made a reservation for p but was able to be seated 30 minutes earlier which was appreciated. Food came out quickly after ordering. We came last year for my Bday and Bday so we decided to return again this year.
But we weren't as pleased. The staff was nice and friendly but the menus selections were the best this time, service was slow and I stated on the phone that I was coming fory birthday and it wasn't acknowledge until I stated it. Last year the table was set up nicely with a card on the table for me. Needless to say we will celebrate at another location next year. Steaks were over cooked and all came out under sized from what was advertised on the menu.
We were shown to our table and given menus. There is no bar menu and the selection of liquor is very poor Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, etc.

They did take it back and bring us new ones which were cooked. Most places would comp the appetizer for the error, but we were charged for both appetizers the raw one that was uneaten and the replacement We had to ask to have one taken off the bill.
