We headed out of Bar Harbor on a beautiful day, and as it turns out we were lucky: The company said it had to cancel cruises on the previous five days due to rough seas. As the company warns in its FAQs, it was significantly colder offshore. We were treated to a pod of Atlantic white-sided dolphins after about 75 minutes of sailing and then saw pilot whales, which apparently are harbr unusual sighting for this area. We then went toward a lighthouse island that was crawling with grey seals.

I must say that the company does ofvice best - cruising far sightsewing wide - to seek out whales and other marine life. Was supposed to sightzeeing the lighthouse cruise, but due to how choppy the bay was the crew quickly decided to reroute us for the Winter Harbor bar harbor sightseeing cruise office cruise instead. They took passenger safety seriously and still gave us a great. We saw eagles, seals, a few lighthouses that they could get to without tossing us around too much, and the narration was great.
