People looking for a boat this inexpensive may be concerned about he quality of the vessel, and here we can answer some questions. The gracker and thickness of the aluminum used is the same as Tracker uses it its larger outboard boats. The aluminum substructure is substantial and its paint is powdercoated and baked on.

Mindful of the fact that the recession has gone on for some six years, the folks at Tracker Marine put their heads together and asked themselves what it would take to get every able-bodied angler out on the water this season in a new boat. The answer was to make a boat so affordable, so complete, that it was an offer any real bass tracker pro 160 keyboard fisherman couldn't refuse.

That boat is the new for Tracker Pro Tracker targeted the Pro to a very specific type of angler -- one who often fishes alone or with just one buddy. Since most anglers fish alone, or with just a friend or family member, building a boat with a loaded carrying capacity of lbs. Win for the anglers who usually fish alone or with just one buddy or kids.

It is a second win for the angler because by building a boat for one or two buddies it could keep the size of the boat down and the size of the engine down as. That saves both initial cost and operating expenses. It's also a win for the casual angler who only wants to go trackrr a few times a year and hates the thought of an expensive boat being under utilized. By making the boat so inexpensive even Scrooge wouldn't feel guilty blowing off bads few weekends each summer.

Twin seats in the cockpit and bass tracker pro 160 keyboard pedestal seats on the casting deck make this an ideal boat for two fishermen. What better way to get a son kejboard daughter into spending quality time with a parent?

Storage for live bass tracker pro 160 keyboard, lines. More storage for tackle boxes "B". All that is needed is a rod, some bait and a little gasoline. Follow us as we "check off" the important fishing equipment The Pro has a one-piece helm console that houses the boat's steering wheel, basic gauges, switches, fishfinder and plug-ins. This is a feature usually not seen on aluminum fishing boats at this price-point.

With its high plastic windscreen this console not only houses the helm, but it also protects the skipper from the wind and spray. We like the simplicity of the It has three switches on the dash with yracker adjacent. Fewer things to go wrong. Less is. For a fishing boat to be considered rigged and ready, it must have the basic necessities.

For starters let's look bass tracker pro 160 keyboard a trolling motor. This boat comes with a Minn Kota lb.

What's more Tracker supplies a dedicated battery for it. The unit is the Edge 45 which has a 45" shaft and lbs of thrust. The prop used bass tracker pro 160 keyboard the weedless Wedge 2. The tracler bullet is impact resistant and the spine is marine-grade anodized aluminum. It has a 2-year factory warranty. The all-welded construction is easily seen here at the bow. The lb. The trolling motor deployed to silently sneak up on inattentive fish.

Note the well-designed and comfortable-looking foot pedal. We trackrr a livewell to keep the bait fresh, or keep the catch alive.

The boat trackr a 9-gal. Additionally, this livewell is all one-piece construction, so bass tracker pro 160 keyboard loose parts can go flying off as we cruise to the fishing hole. When not fishing, it can be used for storage. Notice the reinforced aluminum lid. The location is handy to both the bow and the stern of the boat.

How about a fishfinder? Tracker includes a Lowrance X-4 Pro fishfinder bads a surface temperature display and a swivel mounting bracket making it viewable from the bow.

The 4-X Pro delivers superior target detail and the display can be read even in bright sunlight. It has both auto and manual operation and reads down to 1, ft.

It has a one-year factory warranty. The Bass tracker pro 160 keyboard Pro is designed for both shallow and deep water fishfinding coverage. It is fully waterproof. Rod holders? The Pro accommodates four rods up to 7' 2. There are also storage bins, both in-deck and under the seats. Four rods up to 7' 2. With small boats, storage usually suffers, bass tracker pro 160 keyboard not so in the Pro Notice the pinchless hinge-type fold-down seats.

Additional storage is just behind the seats. As this is an area that will get stepped on quite frequently, the lid is reinforced, and a lip keeps it from getting pushed into the compartment. A "must have" piece of fishing equipment. There are two pedestal seats, with screw-in bases both fore and aft on the casting decks.

These screw-in bases are solid and are of a type used in some of the most expensive bass boats. Two pedestal-mounted casting seats come standard with the Pro Both have pedestals that screw into solid metal basis in the deck. Of course a deal is not a deal if it has to sit in the yard. This Pro comes with a trailer bass tracker pro 160 keyboard 12" wheels. Bass tracker pro 160 keyboard color-matched with powder-coated steel tubing and Galvashield corrosion protection.

The bunks are carpeted, nylon tie-down bass tracker pro 160 keyboard are included, and the lights are submersible. Brakes are the only add-on that might be a necessary option because some local laws may require. The trailer also comes with a folding-tongue jack and outboard motor support which makes storage in the garage so much easier.

The custom-matched trailer has EZ lube hubs and an all-welded frame. The total package seen here weighs 1, lbs. The hp, electric-start, carbureted 4-stroke Mercury engine has good low-end torque because it is an SOHC design. Standard power is a Mercury keyboadr EL 4-Stroke with electric start. It is a two-cylinder in-line single overhead cam SOHCcarbureted engine bass tracker pro 160 keyboard a total of cc of displacement.

SOHC engines are known for 1160 low-end torque and that is precisely what this rig needs. More good news: the engine weighs only about lbs.

Other features of the Mercury 20 EL include a "fuel primer fast idle system" which is better than an auto-chock with today's fuel. It has a low-oil pressure warning system and a back-up rope start in case of a dead battery. It has six trim positions which maximizes hull performance bass tracker pro 160 keyboard permits shallow water operation.

The engine comes with a Mercury 3-year warranty which covers the engine, rigging components and controls. It also has a concurrent 3-year anti-corrosion warranty. Extended factory backed warranty coverage up to seven years can be purchased. The Pro is exceedingly well-equipped for a boat at this price point and even comes with a fire extinguisher and a paddle.

We have bass tracker pro 160 keyboard tested the new Pro gracker we can give no verifiable performance data. Tracker tells us that with this engine they are reaching top speeds between mph with a light load aboard. With a heavy load top speed its more like 18 or 19 mph. All have 20" 51 cm shafts.

The deadrise of the boat is just 6-degrees at the transom. This is a low deadrise angle and helps the boat get on plane fast, have a higher top speed, and be more fuel efficient at cruise than it would.

Perhaps most importantly -- because the boat's max beam is 4' 1. This couple looks like they're having a good time and why not? We bass tracker pro 160 keyboard say the best values in boating is the fun and enjoyment from small boats. The most important aspect, of course, of the Pro is the hull tracked. The bottom is made from one large piece of 0. It has "pressed-in" strakes and chines which give the hull lift and stiffness without added weight.

Longitudinal bass tracker pro 160 keyboard are welded inside to the bottom for more strength and stiffness. Tracker uses "box-beams" that support the gunwales and the all-aluminum transom. A heavy, extruded single piece of aluminum is placed on the gunwale for extra strength and rigidity.

Right here is an additional example: We could be articulate to the awaiting to assimilate their fast wants, crusing ships done from wooden as keyboadd as with a iconic ridicule roger upon a dwindle. Utilizing the transparentwhich is simply done out of 4x8 sheets of plywood that's peaceful enough to place in a behind of the tiny pickup lorry or hurl right down to a local lake upon a non-compulsory barrow.

You paid for the series of calls as well as voicemails, there have been a little Lowe vessel apparatus which it will merely be drawn bass tracker pro 160 keyboard clarity to have. If you're ok with slow and not worried about getting up quick I guess you're ok. Smaller motor usually means you will push the motor harder high rpm to go faster. This wears your motor and eats fuel.

See what others think, but my first boat was rated for a 90 and I put a 70 on it and didn't like it. My second boat similar to my first has a 90 and performance is much better.

My boat is a saltwater fishing shallow, so getting up quick is important. Another thing to consider is the hp of that model. Mercury Yamaha Suzuki etc etc all makes great motors but they also have "less than desired" for certain horse power. So choose an engine and research it. Again having no experience with motors I would get a 4 stroke. Looked at it. Definitely don't get the 20hp.

I have a 16ft boat with a 90hp. What body of water do you plan on fishing and how many people? Do you plan to bass fish and use lures? For the fish finder I would also try and get the biggest screen possible if you plan to fish for bass with lures. Again I have a 5in screen on my kayak and although it's ok I think I may get a 7in screen. Makes a difference. The steering cables and transducer should come installed and in the asking price.

Did the dealer tell you different? They are i was also looking at some lowe boats and having those added were an option but its included in the Tracker. As for fishing areas i got two pretty big lakes up here in norcal, Berryessa and clear lake, those would be about it unless i make an out of town trip but wont happen often.

Just going to be Me and a friend mostly possibly take 3 out on it but that wont be often as well. Know that boat won't do well in rough water. I have the Pro with a Mercury 40HP four-cycle and it goes along fine.

It is also VERY economical. I'd recommend that engine on your Pro If you're buying the boat new, it should be ready to run when you pick it up. I trailered mine directly to the lake, loaded my fishing gear and started having fun!

I hope you do the same! My first til this very day is a Tracker ProTeam I bought mine in Great little tin. Max out the HP. Trust me on this. I know for mine its 40HP, but I got the 25 instead. Rookie mistake!! Always keep your boat covered when its not in use.

Prolonged exposure to the elements will rot out the wooden deck and carpet. Another costly mistake I learned from. For example. If you have a 12 volt system, max out your TM, and run with 55lb. I upgraded a couple of years ago to a MK Maxxum and its been a night and day difference ever since.

Lastly, if you don't run your boat often, and you find it sits for a while. Run the motor every week or 2 for about 3 min. Treat your fuel if you run ethanol or not. Another area I learned the hard way with. BassinLou made all great points. I too cover my boat and the cover is wrecked. I could only imagine what my boat would look like if I didn't cover it. Just to be clear, when bassinlou said run the motor, it needs to run with earmuffs off the garden hose.

IMO If you plan on keeping the boat awhile and can afford it, there are a few upgrades I think that would make your boat ownership experience an enjoyment than a regret. Tracker is known for skimping on things to keep the price point attractive.

A few upgrades and your overall boating experience will be much more positive. If I had to make a choice with the above, I'd max out the trolling motor before I got a bigger motor. Let's face it a Pro isn't built for speed.

You spend more time using the trolling motor than the big motor, you might as well make that the first upgrade. A must have is an onboard charger with 1 bank per battery. Don't let anyone tell you only need a charger for the trolling motor batteries.

In theory, the outboard will keep the starting battery charged. If you are not making long runs this will not be the case and one day you'll be at the ramp and the motor wont start because the last few trips you didn't drive it enough. The standard 3" graphs that Tracker puts on their boats are cute. Not real practical but cute. Normally only one on the console is included. I would recommend getting a minimum 5" graph at both the console and the bow.

Follow the motor manufacturers instructions during the break in period. The manufacturer reserves the right to decline warranty coverage if the procedure is not followed properly. Treat your fuel on every fill up. Seafoam is a good product to get in the habit of using.

Mercury makes their own fuel treatments as well. You need a PFD for every passenger. You need a throwable cushion. You need a marine rated fire extinguisher. You need a first aid kit. If the boat doesn't come with a horn, you need a horn in a can. I advise you to check the requirements for your local waters to see if there are any special requirements.

Slone you are correct. Sorry I wasn't clear on that. Flushing units are a must when running your outboard outside of the water.
