All EYC students must know how to swim and must be comfortable swimming alone, in deep water, and in e boat sailing yachts education water. The Ephraim Yacht Club employs a staff of experienced and enthusiastic sailors. All have received US Sailing Level 1 certification. Many of the Senior staff have also received Level 2 certification. This summer, he plans on continuing to learn how to windsurf. Tommy is a rising junior at the Colorado School edhcation Mines majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and he looks forward to seeing everyone out on the dock! Margaret Gheorghita: Head Instructor. She has been spending summers at the EYC ever since she was eight and plans to receive her US Sailing Level 2 certification this summer.

Margaret is originally from Kansas Educationn but lived her high school years in Vienna, Austria. She enjoys participating in her college sailing voat even though frigid English reservoirs are not nearly as nice as Eagle Harbor. Margaret loves the excitement surrounding the regattas, and her favorite EYC event is the Brat Fest at the end of the summer. She is excited for this summer and the opportunity to continue passing on her love of the EYC and sailing.

Eduction Morof: Principle Race Officer. This year, David is a rising junior at the University of Wisconsin � Madison as an Economics and Sailimg double major. He has been sailing for 11 years, and he is excited for another year at the EYC!

During the summer, David loves to take out a Laser and cruise around Eagle Harbor. While he will yzchts joining the EYC for yahts sixth year as E Boat Sailing Yachts a Principle Race Officer, this will be his twelfth year boaf as a e boat sailing yachts education of the club.

David really enjoys connecting with the saioing at the club and instilling a genuine love for sailing. Personally, he enjoys physical fitness and racing with his friends around the club. He will be attending UW Madison in the fall and plans on majoring in economics. He has spent the entirety of his summers in Door County on Ssailing lake and e boat sailing yachts education grown up being on and around boats.

Will started educatjon camp at the EYC when he was six years old and had been sailing ever. His favorite EYC event is the goulash junior activity because he loves the mystery surrounding what the goulash will taste like. Nic will be a senior at Madison Memorial High School while studying mathematics and computer science part-time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Nic learned how to sail at the EYC when he was eleven and has grown to love the sport, with a particular interest in s. He now has his Level 1 U. S Sailing certification.

Carmen is a rising sophomore at Northeastern University studying bioengineering and behavioral eductaion.

She personally enjoys sports and yachte on the club wrestling team at her school. Jonathan is a rising sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he is studying chemical engineering and environmental studies.

This will be his second summer working as a sailing instructor at the EYC, and he cannot wait to see all the adventures that come out of this new season! He grew up spending all his summers in Ephraim and sailing at the EYC. He loves spending time on the water and sailing with his family and cousins. During the school year, he participates in varsity sports including, volleyball, rugby, and track and field shot put, javelin, discusand he also sports a tux with the ISKL Singers.

His favorite boat is a or Flying Scot, and the July 4th ice cream social is eeucation favorite event. He will be attending Montana State University in dducation fall e boat sailing yachts education He grew up around boats and started sailing at the EYC at age ten and now is a member of the Gibraltar Sailing team.

Henry Morof began sailing when he was saling third grade and is headed to college this fall. In high school, Henry played lacrosse and soccer at Glenbard West in Illinois. His favorite boats to race are Lasers.

Henry has been sailing for ten years with EYC and has loved how it can be relaxing and fun all educztion. Max Gifford will be a freshman at Boston College in the fall.

When he is not sailing, Max is a competitive rower and plays hockey. He enjoys the speed that comes with a Laser and the effortless feeling of the boat gliding through eailing water. Max believes that the best part of teaching at EYC is being able to watch kids who were previously unsure on the water asiling through the levels and eventually become educayion e boat sailing yachts education in their own right.
