Going to try 27 and 28 pitch. I am new to the performance boat world so when I was out the first time I had trouble getting the boat over 67 due to chinewalk. A few trips later I had the boat at I believe I could have got 80 if I had enough water to travel. I feel as if the motor has a lot more, just not enough prop.

It starts getting loose and rocking back and forth. I'm not sure if I need to move the motor up or down. At lower speeds the boat handles great. I also do not know if the prop is what the boat needs. I feel this boat can perform better than it is but I'm also still learning to drive it. If you could offer some advice on this please do. Boat is awesome! Had a Skeeter before this for ten years but it's not the same as handling and the ride of the TE. The lift and handling at the upper speeds is very good and takes rough water very well. I get comments on this rig everywhere we stop. It's just a great fishing rig. Trim tabs are cool. They make it ride like a bigger boat. Credit to my buddy Scott Ashmore, Center City Marine and the fine people at the factory for hooking me up. Yet fixing the things that have been neglected. I will update as work continues.

MinnKota Maxxum Motor upgrades, Bridgeport front half, PHOTO 1 piece hemi heads, reeds, tuner, liner removed, oil injection removed, Bob's cowling, low water pickup. First one I've ever owned, and would not trade it for anything. I am still learning to drive it. I owned a What a difference! I really like the storage under the deck, rod boxes, etc. But what really got my attention was the acceleration from about 25 mph to about 75 mph.
She will set you back in the seat. The Merc had the Boyesen reeds already in it when I bought it. The floor mounted buttons for the hydraulic jacker is a plus. Looking to get a lower water pickup soon, and a nosecose, so I can raise motor more for max speed and driveability. It handles great until about mph, then it wants to chine a little, but not bad, I've learned to steer into the chine rather than away from it, if that made sense , kinda like you would steer into a skid in snow or ice.

It has extreme low water pickup and nosecone. Backwash is bad and she sits low on the back when fishing because of her short length and jackplate.
Added an Allison Foil and put a hole shot plate on bottom of hydraulic jackplate. Greatly improved holeshot. Two vent plugs removed and two large in. A little slip if I take off with the jackplate all the way up. Also added a Stealth charger which is working great. Tons of storage. White boat with Charcoal and Silver accents. Looking forward to the increased top end performance opportunity. When I get home on the weekends from school, that White and Purple shine is a sight for sore eyes.
