You won't need it to be checked for termites, Kenner was either the first or one of the first boats to be built without wood and all composite. They are well made boats that should last a lifetime. My camp partner used to guide and still does and has had his for a good 10 years or more and it still is in good shape and handles chop well. Just looking on the web, the Cape Horn 22' is a full 2 feet shorter than the Kenner 23'. It's in the same price range and size as the Kenner, but not sure about the advantages of the deck-liner construction. I have the Kenner Vision tunnel hull. Hull design gives a dry ride and handles rough water well. Purchased the Vision about eight weeks ago. Four weeks ago I noticed a few spider cracks, was told it is the nature of the beast not unusal.
